A little circle of good fortune for your desk. This round memo pad from Furukawa Shiko's Shifuku no Hitotoki series features the Maneki Neko, Japan's beloved beckoning cat, said to wave good luck toward whoever it faces, printed on soft Mino washi paper. With 50 sheets in a palm-sized pad, it turns quick messages, reminders, and tucked-in notes into small deliveries of fortune; the cat does half the talking for you.

ABOUT THE BRAND
This memo pad is made by Furukawa Shiko, a paper maker based in Mino, Gifu Prefecture,  a region famous for washi papermaking for over 1,300 years. The Shifuku no Hitotoki series ("a moment of bliss") is their Mino washi stationery line celebrating seasonal color and traditional Japanese patterns, designed for everyday use rather than the back of a drawer.

Deb's Note

Growing up, we always had a lucky cat in our house, it symbolizes good luck, and I've had a soft spot for them ever since. These notepads stood out to me straight away for their print.
