The Texture Series takes Yamamoto Paper's signature waxed cover and pushes it further, the paper is embossed with a subtle pattern using engraved press rolls, carefully colored, then finished with wax. Where the wax soaks in more deeply, the surface shifts in translucency and depth, so the texture of the paper itself becomes the star. Inside, plain pages of smooth premium writing paper give you total freedom to write, sketch, or plan, and the slim format slips easily into a bag or back pocket.

ABOUT THE COLOUR
Edo-cha ("Edo brown") was a fashionable colour in Edo-period Japan (1603–1867), worn on the kimono of the day. The name was a small act of rebellion, a "new" brown named for Edo (now Tokyo) to set it apart from the refined colours of Kyoto, the capital at the time. A warm, tea-toned brown with centuries of style behind it.

ABOUT THE BRAND
The RO-BIKI NOTE is made by Yamamoto Paper, a paper specialist founded in Osaka in 1972 and quietly beloved among Japanese stationery enthusiasts. "Ro-biki" refers to the traditional wax-coating process that gives every cover its character, and the Texture Series is filled with Solisto premium writing paper, a smooth stock that plays nicely with pencils, ballpoints, and gel pens, with no feathering and minimal bleed-through. Thread-and-glue binding means every notebook opens completely flat and stays flat, even after heavy use.
